The maintenance position is responsible for the general upkeep and repair needs of Wine & Roses Hotel Restaurant Spa. An ideal candidate would be proactive in preventative maintenance of various equipment including AC units and filters, kitchen appliances, hotel rooms and overall building repairs. They would be able to work independently and unsupervised maintaining workload and productivity. Qualified candidates will have 3 - 5 years of related experience and a basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, finish work, painting, HVAC and pool maintenance. The shift will be 11:30am-8:00pm Tuesday - Sunday. Training will be 7am-3:30pm and last approximately 2 to 3 weeks. Weekend and on-call shifts are required, including nights and holidays. This is a full-time position with benefits. Compensation is from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience. All candidates must undergo a background check and a physical fitness exam.

Essential Function:

In order to perform the duties and requirement for this job, you must have the following physical abilities:

• Constant – walking, standing and repetitive use of hands, arms and legs
• Frequent – bending, squatting, kneeling, simple grasping and reaching above and below shoulder level
• Occasional – Climbing of ladders from step ladders to 12-foot, crawling, twisting of neck and waist, power grasping and pushing and or pulling

You must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop and be on knees; reach and lift above, below and at shoulder level; lift and carry equipment and supplies; constantly walk and stand for long periods (up to 4 hours) and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; walking over uneven ground and up and down stairs to service guests with or without reasonable accommodation.
